Mobile PCs become companions for the busiest adults, but still these PCs are not always the one they use the most. While the largest number of Busiest Mobile PC Users uses their mobile PC as their primary computer, comprising 7.6 million adults, for another 4.4 million adults the second-most-used PC is a mobile PC they use 40 or more hours per week.

There are a few users with more than one heavily-used mobile PC. A relatively small percentage (9%) of mobile-using adults use two or more mobile PCs, each for 40 or more hours per week.

  • This use of many computers highlights the opportunity to more cleanly streamline these busy user’s experiences as they move from one platform to another and want to have access to their data either through the Web or with removable media.
